ABOUT THE PROJECT
Big Bus Tours is the leading operator of open-top sightseeing bus tours in the world. Big Bus Tours has been serving tourists for over 10 years, while their business has adapted over the years, their website was lacking a little behind the digital world.
With this in mind, we have redesigned their homepage to make the online experience more friendly for their audience.
DESIGN PROCESS
Case Study
Step 1: Competitor research
Before jumping into design, we analysed direct and indirect competitors. From the process and clients' input, we understood what they have in common, and identified the USPs of BBT.
Step 2: HotJar and analytics
Once we conducted the competitor analysis, we brought the knowledge from it into their current data. We identified users' pain points by watching users' behaviour and looking at heat maps on their current site.
Step 3: Wireframing
After we've done our research and identified main users' problems. We started to wireframe with all these in mind and with a mobile-first approach.
